Critical Event disappeared from Notifications

On Feb 20, I had malware blocked by Bitdefender Total Security - Gen:Variant.MSILHeracles.147439. I was able to see the event, and the timeline for the BitDefender response, in Notifications.

Now, when I look back, this event is no longer there - not under Critical, or All.

What makes a critical event disappear? Is the malware active and editing the log?

Is there another log file that I can access to see the detection and response?

    As far as I know, the notifications do clear out after a while, but considering that the detection occurred recently, if the notifications were not cleared manually, the information should normally still be visible there. Should you wish to find out more about this, I think the Support engineers might help. You can get in touch with the Support teams by choosing one of the contact channels listed here:

    State your contact reason, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
