Turn on VPN for only specific applications

How can I activate VPN exclusively for certain applications while maintaining my regular internet connection for others? For instance, I have a specific application requiring VPN access, and I want to ensure that only that application routes its traffic through the VPN, while the rest utilize my standard internet connection.

Try this, go into Settings/Auto-connect, Connect when using specific apps or websites and add the app. In Auto Connect at Device Startup, disable that. Also, in General, enable Open on start up. When the app connects outbound, you will see the VPN become enabled in the System tray, that should be the only app connecting besides Chrome, Edge etc. when you open those to web surf.
