Hello,
Please follow the steps below for Firefox :
- open Firefox
- press on the menu button in the upper right that looks like three bars one under another
- go to Options
- go to Advanced > Certificates
- press on View certificates
- go to Authorities
- delete any Bitdefender entries in the list
- press on Import
- navigate to C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security\mitm_cache
- select fake-ca.crt and press on Open
- check all the boxes you are prompted with
- press on next until the certificate is installed
If the issue is solved for Firefox by following the above steps, please import the certificate with the other browsers as well.0 -
Central update is not possible?0 -
Thank you for your advice, however it does not work. Firefox seems use Symantec certificate to verify the website.0 -
I imported (or tried to - see below) the fake-ca.crt. (I am not sure why a presumably valid certificate is named "fake" but whatever.) I checked all the boxes and did not get an error message.
When I went back to view certificates again Bitdefender was still not listed so I am not sure I successfully imported it. Nor does it list any "fake" one. LOL

Hi Sorin
I created a new Firefox profile, deleted the old one, manually import your certificate "C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security\mitm_cache\fake-ca.crt". However SafePay still doesn't work. It doesn't work on IE too.
