Hello @Colorado_Red,
Any data breach alert is logged in the Event History menu under the Digital Identity Protection tab in Bitdefender Central. This represents a chronologically ordered list of events regarding the monitoring of your Digital Identity. You will find here all the actions performed by you and the service updates.

Thank you.
I do not find a tab called - Digital Identity Protection -
I have attached what my screen looks like. Can you perhaps point me in the right direction?

Yes, that's because you are using Identity Theft Protection instead, but your thread was posted in the Digital Identity Protection category, so I assumed you had this. Your screenshot displays the Central dashboard.
Since the two services are similar and you can find the main differences between them by consulting this article and this one, if you click on the Identity Theft Protection tab in Central (my screenshot displays DIP and it's just a sample) this will expand its menu.
Look for the the Event History tab far right:Hope this helps.

Thank you for articulating the differences between digital identity and Identity theft protection. I still don't know what to do. I am guessing the best is to go back to the community and find a different community to ask my question.
Thank you for your help,
K

Cheers @Colorado_Red,
Well, that would be the only place to review previous actions and events for your Identity Theft Protection service, so I'm unsure what more can be done here. It would be useful to know what exactly you wish to review for that particular breach, or what actions are required, if any. For what it's worth, I'll share a couple of insights regarding data breaches, I think this is useful to know.
To find stolen data, the digital identity service scans the dark corners of the web using various methods. Once the data is found, it uses a proprietary system for identity resolution to discover the identity of the breached individual, so it can alert the person about the breach, even if the breach itself includes little or outdated information.
Most commonly, breaches include information about users’ emails, passwords, names and usernames, phone numbers, and physical addresses. Their exposed data creates a snowball effect that ultimately leads to the leak, sale, or trade of entire digital identities on the Dark Web. Breaches are not necessary found on a specific website. They are in a compilation of usernames, passwords, phone numbers, etc. found in archives or texts on the Dark Web, in general.
The service basically raises awareness about your Digital Footprint (data exposed in Surface Web) and remediation steps for data breaches (data exposed in Dark Web). However, you would not be able to change the username for a specific website, for example, but you will be informed that in a specific period, data about you has appeared in data lists on the Dark Web.
This means that you could become victim of a scam. As the purpose is to raise awareness of these breaches and the data involved can be various, there are no mitigation steps, really. If the breach was about a password, you could have changed it, but the breach can also involve other types of data, such as phone numers, address, etc. And if these are listed somewhere on the dark corners of the web, there is no possible way to retrieve or delete them from there, because you don't have control over that leaked information.
I hope the information is helpful.
