  • Just as I switch Antivirus's after waiting so long..finally a 'fix'. Will wait for more posts to confirm this is solved.

Any explanation 'DanyDan' what caused this problem?

And 'Desertrider" 10 months is a very long time to a fix a critical problem..(that's if it is indeed fixed) don't you think?

Yep, kind of a joke..way too long to be fixed.

Is it fixed for you? Anyone else??

  • Hello,

I know it may sound as an excuse or a way to find an explanation but this forum and the topics created along with my answers can prove it: more than half of the users having the Services are not responding issue had at least one other security solution installed and running on the same PC.

The issue was fixed also for the newest version, BitDefender 2011. I strongly recommend to all our users to upgrade and use the 2011 IF they meet the system requirements. As a general idea of these requirements: if you have more than 1 GB of RAM and a processor 2.00 GHz (considered as a regular PC nowadays ) then you can easily upgrade and use the 2011 version of BitDefender.

For information on how to upgrade correctly check the topic below:

Considering the fact that the issue was resolved and the posts in this topic may confuse some (there are users who are searching the web and finding an older resolution posted in this topic), I have closed the topic.

For any future issues please create a new topic.

    Yours,
