I am using paid version of bitdefender from app store called virus scan plus.
Bitdefender has version 2016 on their website – what are the differences?

The main difference between them is that the Scanner Plus can disinfect infections in the user's folder, where as the Anti-Virus for MAC can disinfect anywhere on the MAC.
Basically offering greater protection for the entire machine.
I am curious as to the difference between the paid Antivirus for Mac and the free version available in the Apple store. Thanks.
