BD Total Security installation doesn't start at all
Hi there!
Just subscribed for the BD Total Security 2021, downloaded the installation file.
Runiing the file it starts, Win10 asks for permissions as always, and nothing happens after. Reboot doesn't help just as reinstalls, running as administrator, etc.
Help, please. Thanks!

Followed guidance from "EduardC" above for both online and offload (64 bit) downloads, but in both instances, I'm told to restart computer, which I did and then nothing. I also chose not to restart computer and again nothing.
Any thoughts on what to do next? DonB

As quoted by @Alex_A, follow steps in the link (https://community.bitdefender.com/en/discussion/84035/install#latest). If the issue persists, kindly proceed with below steps :
1) Kindly uninstall bitdefender product & bitdefender agent. You can also use the bitdefender total security uninstaller (https://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/Bitdefender_2021_Uninstall_Tool.exe) .Restart PC after uninstallation is completed. Check if all the bitdefender entries have been remove from ad/ remove program in control panel.
2) Now, restart PC in safe mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode)
3) As soon as desktop opens, assuming your windows drive is C, open below things in run (windows icon + R) command one by one :
C:\Program Files (delete any folder with name bitdefender)
C:\Program Files (x86) (delete any folder with name bitdefender)
C:\ProgramData (delete any folder with name bitdefender)
C:\Users\{your pc name}\AppData\Local (delete any folder with name bitdefender)
4) Open run command again and run below command one by one :
temp ,delete all the files in the folder
%temp% ,delete all the files in folder
prefetch ,delete all the files in folder
5) Press Windows Key + R and type regedit ,click ok. Press Ctrl + F and type bitdefender and checkmark match whole strings only. Search whole registry for any bitdefender entry and delete. Continue searching registry and deleting bitdefender entries until find option shows up no registry entry/ no key found.
6) Restart your PC in general mode by unticking the option that you selected to run the system in safe mode and then click apply.
7) Now, follow the steps in link (https://community.bitdefender.com/en/discussion/84035/install#latest)
If issue persists, kindly drop a mail to bitdefender support at bitsy@bitdefender.com regarding your query & inform them about all the resolutions that you have done till now. They will reply back asap.
