Bitdefender conflict with Exchange WEP
Bitdefender is conflicting with Windows Extended Protection (WEP) used by Microsoft Exchange.
Symptoms: Credential prompt error -- a requester continually prompts for my email password and in never satisfied.
The email server supplier says that Bitdefender terminates my HTTPS traffic and establishes a new SSL/TLS session.
Workaround: Disabling Bitdefender Encrypted web scan solves the problem.
Adding an exception for the mail server address in Bitdefender's Manage exceptions/Online Threat Prevention doesn't seem to solve the problem unless Encrypted web scan is disabled.
Anyone have advice on how to tell Bitdefender not to interfere in this case?
I am using Bitdefener Antivirus Free | Build 26.0.30.102 on Windows 10 Pro 21H2 19044.2251 and Office 2207 (Build 15427.202210 Click-to-Run)

Hello,
If disabling Encrypted web scan solves the problem, I think this is related to a known issue that has already been acknowledged by the development teams. There is an ongoing investigation regarding this behaviour and you can share your findings with the engineers, to help the troubleshooting process, if you like.
You can get in touch with our engineers by choosing one of the contact methods available here:

The engineers will add your feedback to the task and advise on the next steps to take.
Thank you for your understanding and for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback.
