Uninstall Quickly Failing With Generic Error Message. What To Do? (PROBLEM SOLVED)

Following Bitdefender's instructions to uninstall on a mac...
At Steps 5 & 6, double-clicking BitdefenderUninstaller from within the Bitdefender application folder, & entering requested computer password to continues, the uninstall looks like its starting but after a few seconds fails with
No other messages. Rebooting and restarting the uninstall, I get the same thing.
Mac OS is the latest.
How do I proceed from here?
