Google search asking if I am a robot
Hello everybody,
it's my first post and ask for sympathy :) !!!
Google systems detect unusual traffic and asks me constantly if I am a robot when i am connected to my optimal VPN Server which is in Greece.
How these kind of problems are dealt? Does the BitDefender team do something about it? Any recommendations?
Thank you

Confirmed on my end as well. Greece was the only one that Google flagged. Romania, Italy, Norway, and Automatic (US) all obtained the search results, for "boats".

Hello.
Works fine for me. "I'm not a robot" didn't appear at all.

Good idea to check a different browser. With FF v 115, it worked. But in Edge v 114.0.1823.67 and Chrome v 114.0.5735.199 it comes up with the Google pop up. All searches were done with Google. Bitdefender Anti-tracker was disabled, as well as uBlock, which didn't change a thing. VPN Premium v 25.7.0.1
@Gjoksi have you tried it in Chrome?

Hello,
I think this is not something unsual and can happen, because VPN servers are used by tens, hundreds, maybe even thousands of people at the same time, who will make different requests to Google at the same time, which can trigger the system to think that so many requests from the respective IP come from a "robot".

But why, from what I can tell, is it just doing it in Chrome/Edge? Is it something in the coding, or just because of its (Chromes, even Edge) higher number of users, causing too many people to access that server at the same time?
I'll retry it in an hour or two, and see if it has the same result :)
And granted, once you click the, I'm not a robot, the pages load correctly.

I'm not sure, I think we would have to know exactly how Google's captcha works to find out.. 🙄

No problem, understood :) At times, it's just amazing that with all the apps and technology we have on our devices, let alone VPNs connecting to servers worldwide, that there aren't more issues than the ones we occasionally get :)

Thanks, that's what I was wondering if you even had Chrome installed :)

hi @Alexandru_BD , my question is - is bitdefender working with google to sort this out? reading the 1st page of chain of replies, seem like the customers are being left to figure it out on our own. i would understand if we are using openware or freeware.. but i paid for this product.
i used nordVPN previously and i didn't experience this problem. also the first couple of days after installing the suite of bitdefender products, i did not experience this issue.
the content of the message is pretty alarming - "unusual traffic coming from your network" - please let us know if an incident record was officially filed and assigned to product SMEs - designers, developers, engineers. etc, and if one has been submitted, please let us know what phase they are in or when a resolution will be delivered.
thanks for patiently reading my post.
cheers!

Hello,
I think this is something that needs to be addressed by Google. Technically, this is not a fault in the VPN and has to do with the way their system is configured to recognize those different requests coming from the respective IP.
