Roblox Blocked: Advanced Protection

Hello All,

Popular online platform Roblox has an experimental anti-cheat that's newly invasive to combat exploiters on their platform. Problem being the latest version is blocked by Bitdefender. I highly advise Bitdefender work fast to resolve this auto-blocking before customers start picking up this is the source of the issue. (It's already on their websites development forums and people are uninstalling).

Roblox operates by running a request from the browser to the launcher application to join game instances. Their new antivirus is called Byfron. I don't have much more information to give.

Yes I have tried adding all available applications and associated launcher applications to the whitelist on the advanced protection to no avail. Sadly their antivirus is purely to blame here. The only way to actually launch and play Roblox is to disabled the Advanced Threat Protection entirely.

Antivirus and Anticheat's historically don't mix well and I hope this is resolved internally soon.
