Bitdefender modifying hosts file
I have disabled the option in Bitdefender to "scan hosts file", however, it keeps commenting out the contents of my hosts file and adding the following to the beginning of the file:
# BitDefender has cleaned hosts file
127.0.0.1 localhost
---
What can I do to stop Bitdefender from changing my hosts file? I'm a software developer and I use the hosts file often during local development.

Follow the procedure provided by @Alexandru_BD in the below-stated link to disable Bitdefender from scanning the hosts file:

Additionally, set the hosts file as an exclusion in Bitdefender (you will find host file in here: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)
