Hi all,
I also got the latest build 27.0.30.135 for Internet Security.
I didn't notice anything different after update, so I assume the cryptomining protection module that mentioned by @gur_helios is reserved for Total Security or higher tier subscription.
No system restart was requested for me during the update, but I restarted my computer anyway.

I got it as well:
Yes, this feature is built into Bitdefender security solutions for Windows, accessible through subscription plans:

Technically isn't it available in other Bitdefender editions also? I thought this is something Bitdefender was detecting anyway through signatures + behavior blocker.

Exactly my point. Bitdefender already detects crypto mining software via signature-based detection and advanced threat detection. What does introducing this feature bring that is new?
@camarie can you provide us with insight here?

I know about the feature release, but not the details.

If possible, you can get some information on this.
Also, @Alexandru_BD if you can also help in getting an update on the same.

Hi folks
My experience with the latest build 27.0.30.136 of Bitdefender is that the autoscan settings are reset to the following values every time. See screenshot below.
However, the settings should remain with the previously selected changes after restarting the system as can be seen below.
The same error already occurred in the previous version.

Hello @gur_helios,
I've seen another report for this in the discussion below:
@camarie do you know if this is a known issue by now and can we do some tests? 😅
I've forwarded this to the Support teams as well.
Thanks!

I am not aware of such an issue. Support/QA should verify the issue and come back if they confirm the issue (or not).

Update: an investigation has been opened by the developers following your reports.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention @gur_helios 👍️

Good morning,
As for me yesterday, I received version 27.030.136 of Bitdefender.
The configuration of the protection against crypto mining was done automatically.
For now, I have not reported any problems with this latest version of Bitdefender.
Regards.

Hi,
I'm pretty sure your autoscan settings are set back to the default values if you make a reboot. Did you try that out?

Hello,
Allow me to intervene simply to point out that a few days after receiving version 27.0.30.136 I noticed two malfunctions that I exposed on the French forum.
I contacted bitdefender support by email this morning and attached a Windows Support Tool log.

Hi friends
I just got build 27.0.30.140 which fixes the "Autoscan" issue at boot up. A device restart was not necessary to take the changes in effect.

I just checked (manual update) and I still have version 27.0.30.136.
No doubt that this latest version is deployed voluntarily in a progressive way.
I am glad that your problem has been solved with this latest version.

It seems like it's an F1 race, where the winner consistently reaches the finish line first by receiving the Bitdefender product upgrade. After a thorough study and analysis of the statistics, it has been concluded that the Bitdefender product upgrade of the year 2023 goes to our very own "eagle eye" @Gjoksi
Congrats @Gjoksi 😎
@Alexandru_BD & @Mike_BD will be so proud of you.

😂😂😂
@Flexx no, he doesn't get the updates that fast anymore, since he reinstalled the product some time ago, he's on a different rollout batch. I remember he was not happy about this, but I couldn't do anything about it, sadly... 😅😁

The award is for Year 2023, and from what I see in the post, he is the clear-cut winner, lol. @Gjoksi, it seems @Alexandru_BD is not happy with your achievement. Are you thinking of the green color, lol? 😂

Hello.
I just got the latest build:
NOTE: A device restart was NOT required for the changes to take effect.
Regards.

Same here 😁
In the release notes, build 27.0.35.146 is still mentioned, but the update came with build 27.0.35.147. 😊
I just see that the my scan engine is a little bit newer than yours. Engine version 7.96555 to 7.96553. Initiate an update again and check the scan engine version afterwards.
Regards, Uwe
Addendum:
Just got an other update for Bitdefender and I recognize that the version of the scan engine has climbed to build 7.96556. I didn't know by now that after each malware definition update the version of the scan engine encreases. Never realized that before.
