Can't install Bitdefender Total Security Antivirus (MacBook Pro 2017 running MacOS Catalina 10.15.5)

I can't install Bitdefender Antivirus on MacBook Pro 2017 after upgrading to MacOS Catalina 10.15.5

The Installer say installation is completed. After closing/quitting the Installer, a small window popped-out. It says Downloading Antivirus for Mac. But nothing happened, nothing was dowloaded. Progress bar stayed empty. And then the pop-up window disappeared.

Inside the Applications folder / Bitdefender: There's only an alias to BitdefenderUninstaller. Nothing else is in there. No Bitdefender application.

I tried every troubleshooting methods that are suggested here, over and over again: https://community.bitdefender.com/en/discussion/comment/295487#Comment_295487

But still. Nothing worked.

Can somebody please help me?

Since you already performed the solution currently available regarding your query and none of it worked, kindly drop an email to bitdefender support at bitsy@bitdefender.com. The support team is the only one which can help you regarding this issue.

It might be possible that they may connect internally with development team to provide you best possible additional solution such that bitdefender gets installed on your MAC.

Response may be delayed due to less staff and covid19. Rest be assured, they will reply back asap.
