Can't Install Bitdefender Total Security 2020 on Windows 7 SP1

I had it installed. I uninstalled it. I have been trying to re-install. After the User Account Control dialog appears and I click OK, the cursor spins for 10 seconds then nothing. No error message. Nothing in Windows Event Viewer.

Hi Regalato,

Support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020 from Microsoft. But if you want to use Windows 7 then you have to install some update manually for using some software Bit Defender one of those. you can download those update file from the following links

For installing Internet Explorer 11 you have to install some Pre Requisite file which are available in this link

After installing those file i hope your problem will be solve.

This is to inform that windows 7 sp1 will automatically get updated through windows update. Updating from 3rd party is not recommended. Same goes for internet explorer.

Additionally user already states that he is having issue on windows 7 sp1.
