I recently had Bitdefender block a phishing attack however i continue to get sketchy notifications
Hello!
A little worriesome, bitdefender blocked a phishing attack but now i get continuous notifications saying "a russian is attempting to access your computer" and your "your computer software wil be deleted in 10 minutes' Etc. I did a full system scan and Bit defender did not find anything. What else can I do to get rid of these notifications/ verify my system is safe.

Please check if the following steps help you:
1) Restart your PC in safe mode: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-your-pc-in-safe-mode-in-windows-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234
2) Open the Run command and execute the following commands one by one:
temp ,delete all the files in the the folder
%temp% ,delete all the files in the folder
prefetch ,delete all the files in the folder
3) Restart your PC in normal mode by unselecting the option to run the system in Safe Mode and then click 'Apply.
4) Reset your we browsers:

As an additional check, you can use Malwarebytes AdwCleaner (https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner) to scan for any remaining adware on your system

The support team will reply to the same email within the next 24-48 hours, excluding weekends.
