Hello, it is normal behavior by having the old Acrobat Reader installed. Also Adobe Reader IX prompts for installing the DC one and the DC installer will prompt you to remove the old one. I see this as Function as Designed.

Hello, what is the latest version you have installed? Have you tried updating to the latest reader https://get.adobe.com/ro/reader/ ? If you are updating from 11 to 22 for example you have to uninstall the old one.

Hello, can you specify the operating system in use? Also the windows build version (you can get that by running in Start-Run winver and press enter. Also what is your pc configuration (CPU, RAM) and if you can run it manually from start menu (not from the bitdefender interface)?

That error means that update could not connect to proxy or server. What kind of proxy are you using? Had you configured proxy usage in General settings -> Advanced?
