New to Bitdefender

Maybe a dumb question, but I'm new to this app. Does Bitdefender run automatically in background on my Mac even if I close the app? I used Norton in the past and it always ran whenever the computer was turned on -- I didn't have to start it and/or keep it running.

I'm a Windows user, but i guess my answer also applies for Mac users.

Even if you close the app by clicking on X (the red Close button), Bitdefender will still run in the background.

Also, like the Windows version, i think that there is no option to Quit Bitdefender on Mac.
