Well, I use Steam and BD IS without any problems the last years, try to uninstall BD with the uninstall tool and reinstall with the standard settings.

@ Bitdefender Team Is it possible to eliminate Steam from that automatic game mode list?

I have seen the same. Every time I use automatic bitdefender profile switching, the security runs at game mode if steam is running in the background. Cause of that I only manually choose the profiles.

Die neuen Optionen muss man aber erst aktivieren, bspw. bei der Installation. Kann ja auch unabsichtlich passieren, ist aber an sich kein Prob des Bitdefenders.

Wieso, man muss nur die hinzugekommenen Einstellungen für sich richtig wählen. Ich verwende Bitdefender schon seit Jahren völlig problemlos. Wird aus Versehen etwas geblockt, dann wird das Problem immer kurzfristig behoben.

Ich habe dieses Problem nicht, scheint wohl nicht überall aufzutreten. Die Firewallsettings zurücksetzen bzw. den Steam-Eintrag zu löschen ist wohl schon der beste Weg.

File size is about 25MB, so no upload possible. It is not directly the uplay.exe, but its Downloads for the games get slow or blocked by using Bitdefender Internet Security 2015. Some other security suites don't block Uplay's downloads.

Das Problem kann man ganz leicht beheben, es hängt mit dem Feature "Profile" zusammen. Klickt im Hauptfenster auf Tools, dann in der Mitte auf Profile. Und dann jeweils die einzelnen Profile konfigurieren und darin den Aufschub von Windows Updates aufheben.

Benutze doch vorerst die englische Version, so wie ich. Ansonsten bleibe noch bei der 2014-er Version. Vermutlich kein großer Sicherheitsunterschied. Ich finden den Support hier echt gut, man nimmt sich den Problemen an. Nur Geduld...

Ich möchte mich hier mal anschließen. Letztlich hat man ja auch andere IP Adressen, wenn man mit dem Smartphone (nicht über WLAN) online geht. Wir haben bspw. 6 Rechner (inkl. Notebook) , 1 Tablet, 4 Handys. Könnte man diese alle mit einer Lizenz schützen?

Interessanterweise funktioniert auch alles, wenn ich die Kaspersky IS2014 nutze. Selbst wenn ich dort "Alle Netzwerkports überwachen" auswähle, funktioniert der Zugriff auf die Kamera vollständig. Well, I have the same problems with my Windows 7 64bit systems. I get the repeated reboot requests after EVERY version update of Internet Security 2013. Then I repair the installation or uninstall it with the tool and reinstall it. After that everything works fine again until the next version update comes out.
