Windows Explorer is primarily used to browse for files inside a computer. Blocking http traffic would be reasonable.
-
+1 right here.
-
You got a tough one right there. Without admin, virtually you cannot do anything. Would be interested regarding inputs on this.
-
+1 right here. Would be nice to have this feature.

Hi James, can I ask for the reason on why you want it to run on aggressive?
-
Hi. I'm not quite sure but there is there anyway for us to white list a program? Like the BD will just ask for the location and trust all the traffic coming in and out of it?
-
Hi Rampant. What applications exactly are you referring to?
-
Hi R_B. There must be a reason on why it switched off with no warning. Please post the report here to if possible. Would be interesting to look at it.
-
Hi hammerng, I hope you get yours validated but if not, please attach a screenshot with the error message.
-
I think the issue here is NAS. I would check the TCP port being used on that and make sure that the BD firewall is set to allow traffic on it. Good luck.
-
This link might be of help to you. http://www.bitdefender.com/support/How-to-...ontrol-501.html Good luck.
-
Try to update your Network Controller adapter drivers. I'm assuming that you're using Intel. Also, what OS are you currently using?
-
The admins should be able to unblock it for you. At first glance, I thought this could just be done on the client site but it's really the admins who can do this for you. Check out this sample thread. http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=30579 Good luck.

Does it give you any option on the pop ups like what you want to do? You can probably mark it as safe, There should be an option somewhere too to put those plugins in the trust list. By the way, the firefox plugin-containter is a plugin that will eat up a lot of your CPU utilization. I disabled it in my notebook.
-
Hi James. You can probably turn it off if you are browsing a familiar site. But when doing google research, I 'd suggest to turn it on, just to be on the safe side. By the way, can you please post memory and CPU of your PC?
-
Hi ONT. Please update us on how this works out for you.
-
A firewall does only one thing, which is to block an untrusted port. You can research what TCP/UDP ort is used in that game and try to added it in BD trust list.
-
Hi Khione. Were the steps able to fix the issue for you?
-
Yes. It does. A firewall does the basic thing. That is to block untrusted TCP UDP ports. If there's a program that you are using that is being blocked, you can get the port that is using and add it in the firewall's trust list. That should fix your issue. Good luck.
-
Hi. It's Windows bit defender that is doing that, not the windows firewall. They are different. I think everything is normal in your PC.
-
Hi. Here's what I think. Correct me if I'm wrong please. 3rd What is Block Port Scans -a software that scans open ports so hackers could use that to connect 4th Internet Sharing -blocks sharing of files including the internet connection
-
Waiting for updates right here too. Will adding an entire subnet on the trust list make a difference? Maybe just for testing purposes.
-
Sorry to hear that but have you tried calling them at 1-954-928-2780? Looks like you may need to restart the installation but call them first I suggest to check out options.
-
Also will BitDefender slow down my PC? F-Secure seems to work fine on it at the moment. -Technically, yes when scanning. But in the human eye, you won't notice it. Finally one of the PCs is Windows XP rather than 7 which I'm guessing isn't an issue but just checking. -Yes, it will be compatible, for now. You might need to…

When you uninstalled kaspersky, there are still files on it stored on your computer's registry. Try to browse their support page and see if you can clean it up. Using a third party software for registry cleaner is an option too. Last one if all else fail. You can do a system restore first, if there's a restoration point…

I got a follow up question on this. When you say lifetime activation, does this only to Bit Internet 2012? What if its year 2015, it would say that my data is obsolete since the version is 2012. Does life activation means free upgrade to Bit Internet 2015 on so on? Thanks.
-
Ha! Nice! Should there be an adminstrator mode for BF on a standard user account on the PC?
-
Thanks! I disabled IPV6 and followed your guide. Seemed to work out pretty well.
-
This are IPs. IPV6 IPs. We are currently using IPV4.

My pal got this too. I just kept scratching my head. Has this been already reported to be a bug?
