Potential Cause Of Firewall's Alert Mode Self Disabling. Any Help?
One thing i have noticed and please ask your devs to look into this.
If i run a steam game ( one in particular would need to verify with others ) then when EAC gets loaded Easy Anti Cheat , it slides my ALERT slider to disabled. I can visually confirm this on my second monitor and can post a video if necessary.
Although this is not the only instance where ALERT will self disable. I am trying to correlate any event manager activities with the disabling of the ALERT feature, but so far have come up unlucky.
This is a persistent issue. All trouble shooting steps have been taken as per tech advice, and my last step WILL BE a whole re partition and sys reinstall to see if it alleviates the security issue at hand.

Do you have any Profile enabled, or the Profiles set to enable automatically depending on your activity on the PC?

Not sure if you are referring to me. But My last post was to indicate a possible correlation between EAC and the alert slider self disabling.If not no worries. Total repartitions and sys reinstall coming up and we will see if it resolves the issue.

It's true that there have been several reports in the forum concerning the Alert Mode and it seems that this behaviour is encountered occasionally, or in irregular, random instances. For this reason, we are keeping a close eye on the feedback received here, but sometimes duplicate threads can be harder to track, especially if they are a few months away from each other. @Negligence's threads are indeed similar, but the latest one does bring more insight and suggests a possible correlation between EAC and Alert Mode. I cannot pronounce myself here, but let's see if a clean reinstall solves the issue.

At the moment , so far so good, 24 hours in after a partition and format. Rebooted the same game using EAC and no issues now.
If anything changes will keep you updated. Might have been an artifact in my previous registry causing the issue.
