Which Utilities are safe for SSDs
Just installed total Security 2019 (Family edition) on a laptop with a Solid State Drive and want to know if there are any issues using the four optimization tools in the Utilities section. (Oneclick Optimizer, Startup Optimizer, Disk Cleanup, and/or Anti-Theft.) Fresh install of Windows 10 Pro May 2019 update, on a used…
Utilities are not working
Utilities are optimize device boot and disk clean up Clicking them nothing happens
Utility Disk cleanup
What types of files does disk cleanup find and where does it send files that are "deleted"?? I analyzed my Seagate expansion drive. Disk cleanup found so many files that I did not delete any. When I click that 'optimize' button what sort of deletion scheme is taking place?

I used to use CC Cleaner for this and will go back to that if Bitdefender can't do it. I see an "Upgrade" for my version of Bitdefender that…
Fileshredder for SSD
Is there any point in running File shredder in bitdefender for files stored on an SSD since SSD's don't store everything together but likely to have the file in separate parts of the drive.
Restoring lost files.
Is it possible to restore files deleted by :Clean My Device"? This morning I ran the program and my .pst files were all deleted and now I have lost all my saved emails.

hi I install bitdefender total security 2019 on my system (windows 7 64-bit) I want to scan files online, but I did not find any documentation and tool for how to do this. I wrote an FTP application and I need to scan the file in the program and based on the result of the feedback How to scan a file inline? Do I need a…
More options for file shredder
Hi there I have over 2 million files to shred (since windows basically hangs with this many), so the only reliable way I've found is to slowly let Bitdefender File Shredder, slush it's way through them. It would be nice if the Shredder had a few more options, such as: * Shred (fastest option, overwrite with binary... 1's &…
