Feedback on CCleaner
In addition to Bitdefender, I have had CCleaner on my laptop to remove obsolete or otherwise unnecessary if not harmful files. I have some concern that the cleaning is somewhat blunt and may result in loss of certain files I actually want to keep. My question is whether I can completely rely on Bitdefender to find and…

Can you find the easter egg in Mobile Security for Android?
Rumour has it that an easter egg made its way into the Mobile Security for Android. Easter egg: a hidden surprise or extra feature that is included in something such as a computer game, a piece of software, or a film, for the person using or watching it to find. The only clue we have is him: Let's see who can find it!

I've switched off all the obvious "notification" settings, but this advertising for Bitdefender VPN keeps on popping up. I already use a VPN product, so this is just a nuisance that I get for free. Does anyone know what obscure settng I need to access to turn this off? Or am I just going to have to live with it? I also…

NAS access speed
I recently dumped Kaspersky due to security and ethical reasons - i.e. Ukraine After choosing and installing Bitdefender my NAS access speeds have dropped by over 50%, both wireless and ethernet connected. I've tried excluding the NAS ip address, the backup/sync software, all sorts of things but no joy. Any ideas? Thanks

Your Identity is Being Traded on The Internet Every 2.5 Minutes
You're flooded by ads every time you visit a website: small banners, big rollovers, annoying pop-up ads, colorful ads, video ads, you name it. But to be effective, those ads must address your needs and wants. Let’s say you’re a 42-year-old man from Chicago with a passion for cars and extreme sports. You’re likely…

Bitdefender - no longer best in class
I've been a Bitdefender subscriber, with multiple accounts covering a couple of dozen devices, since 2017. It was, at that time, easily the best in class AV/Malware suite on the market, offering excellent protection combined with very good low-profile resource management, at very fair pricing. It worked in the background,…

Is the BD Expert Community sort of a replacement for BD Beta Testing?
Since 2016 I started using Bitdefender as my antivirus provider. If I am right I started participating in 2018 with the Bitdefender Beta Testing Program. And in 2019 I was again chosen as a Beta Tester. Both years rewarded for my (useful) contribution. But since COVID-19 came around the corner, I haven't seen the Beta…

I've seen some impressive gear in your signatures and this thread came to mind.
